The Friends of the Swedish Cabin invite you to attend our annual Trim-a-Tree event just outside Philadelphia.
Help decorate the Christmas tree, enjoy Julbord snacks and Swedish music, craft a reindeer, find Tomten and warm yourself at the two fireplaces. Tour the cabin built during the New Sweden Colony, 1638 - 1655. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and includes a working smokehouse. This free event is great for all ages and is accessible via public transportation (SEPTA), 1/2 mile from the Creek Rd. station. Dress for the weather as the Julbord, Butiken and craft area will all be outside (no raindate). God Jul! |
